About Drappier Clarevallis
Created by the eighth generation of the Drappier family from vineyards cultivated by the Cistercian monks of Clairvaux Abbey, founded by Saint Bernard in the 12th century.
The Name Clarevallis
Clarevallis is the Latin name of Clairvaux Abbey, expressing respect for this historic place.
Carefully Grown Grapes
Made mainly from Pinot Noir grown on Kimmeridgian limestone. The organically farmed vineyards are ploughed by horse.
Fine Bubbles and Aromas
Unfiltered and made with low sulphites (20 mg/L), this Champagne has persistent fine bubbles, elderflower and violet aromas, and taut minerality.
